I was invited to create a site-specific piece for the Edmond de Rothschild gallery entrance. Gathering remnant materials from my Bachelor’s Graduation Exhibition, I began cultivating an installation that focused on discarded mechanical and agricultural objects. These included: dried corn abandoned in the field during Covid-19 lockdown, thermal nylon utilized as insulation in agricultural greenhouses, irrigation pipes, etc.

 

The installation mimicked an urban landfill tarnishing the pristine facade of the preserved Bauhaus building, while functioning as an alternative agricultural environment in the midst of the bustling city of Tel-Aviv.
